Asaduddin Owaisi (May 13, 1969)is an Indian politician and a member of Lok Sabha, Lower House of the Parliament of India. He was born in Hyderabad. He attended Hyderabad Public School and St. Mary's Junior College, Hyderabad. After having graduated from Osmania University (B.A., Nizam College), he took a Law degree [L.L.B. (Hons.)] from the University of London, England. He was later called to the Bar by Lincoln's Inn.. Asaduddin made his political debut into the Lok Sabha from the constituency of Hyderabad by defeating his nearest rival G.Subash Chanderji of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) with a margin of 100,145 votes. Earlier this seat was represented by his father Senior Owaisi. Asaduddin Owaisi was also a Member of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly for ten years before becoming a Member of Parliament.
