Attila tells the story of a warrior named Attila the Hun, who violently assumes Hun leadership and unites the warring clans under his banner. Mixing mostly truths with the mythological story of the sword of destiny which was believed at the time, Attila seeks to form an empire after a life-changing visit to the civilized city of Rome. After tormenting much of the Eastern Roman Empire, he decides to attack the Western Roman Empire, then led by the incompetent Caesar Valentinian.
