Sir Augustus Berkeley Paget KCB (16 April 1823 – 11 July 1896) was the son of Rt. Hon. Sir Arthur Paget and Lady Augusta Fane, nephew of General Sir Edward Paget and grandson of The 1st Earl of Uxbridge. Paget was appointed a member of Queen Victoria's privy council in 1876 he was a career civil servant and diplomat and British ambassador.
