Austin Winkler (born October 25, 1981) is the lead vocalist for the Oklahoma City based rock band Hinder.
Before starting Hinder, Austin played in a cover band. He wrote his own songs and the band refused to play them. He then formed Hinder with Cody Hanson. He wrote the band's song "Lips of an Angel" which peaked at #3 on Billboard Hot 100. He writes the bulk of the bands lyrics with Cody Hanson.

On December 21st, 2007 Winkler was arrested in Jonesboro, Arkansas on suspicion of DUI after leaving his engagement party. Winkler and Jami Miller (actress/model) were married in Maui, Hawaii on July 30, 2008. He met Miller while filming the music video for Hinder's cover over "Born to Be Wild".
