The Avro Type 694 Lincoln was a British four-engined heavy bomber, first flown on 9 June, 1944. It was the last piston-engined bomber in the Royal Air Force; 604 were built. The Avro Lincoln entered service in August 1945, too late to be used in the Second World War.
