Balsam Mountain is a mountain located in Ulster County, New York. The mountain is part of the Catskill Mountains. Balsam Mtn. is flanked to the northwest by Belle Ayr Mountain, and to the southwest by Haynes Mountain. The eastern slopes of Balsam Mountain drain into Esopus Creek, thence into the Hudson River, which drains into New York Bay.
