A cyclist rides along the street and becomes a target for those throwing snowballs. As a result he falls from his bike. He is not hurt however and picks himself up, riding off in the opposite direction but leaving his hat in the snow.
This short documentary was filmed in Lyon in France. It was filmed by means of the Cinématographe, an all-in-one camera, which also serves as a film projector and developer. As with all early Lumière movies, this film was made in a 35 mm format with an aspect ratio of 1.33:1.
