BCD Semiconductor Manufacturing Limited (BCD Semi) was funded by a number of world-renowned venture capitalists from the United States and Asia. BCD Semi, strategically headquartered in Shanghai, China, at the nexus of the semiconductor industry migration, is an Integrated Device Manufacturer (IDM) that incorporates product development, circuit design, R&D and manufacturing capabilities to offer a wide range of power management IC solutions to its customers. The company not only supplies its customers with Standard Linear and Linear Regulator IC products, AC/DC, DC/DC Switching Converters, Hall IC and Schottky diode products under its own brand name, but also offers customers complete and competitive power management subsystem solutions and foundry services. BCD Semi focuses on high volume, high growth market opportunities worldwide, especially the three fast growing market segments: PC, flat panel display and consumer electronics.

The company currently employs 800 full-time staff, including more than 300 in IC design, technology development and product engineering. The BCD Semi 6" fab has a clean-room floor area of over 4000 m2 for wafer processing. BCD Semi provides system customers with superior products that are developed with first-class analog IC design and R&D, and manufactured with advanced process technologies such as Bipolar, CMOS and DMOS, etc. The company has sales offices in Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Taiwan and USA and has established distribution channels in China Mainland, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, Japan and USA to provide superb services to worldwide customers. A new campus for the BCD Headquarter has also been under construction in Shanghai Zizhu Science-based Industrial Park; right next to Intel and Mircrosoft.
