Beta Theta Pi (ΒΘΠ), is one of the oldest social collegiate fraternities in North America. It was founded in 1839 at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, USA. The fraternity currently consists of approximately 140 active chapters and colonies in the United States and Canada. Over 190,000 (2010) members have been initiated worldwide, with approximately 133,000 living initiated members. There are currently more than 8,000 undergraduate members.
