Alice Smith is the daughter of the late Garry L. Smith, a former minor league first baseman. Smith married Keith A. Barmore in Denver on August 26, 1991. She was in the bail bond business in Colorado as a competitor to Duane Chapman's sister, but she no longer carries a license. Smith is the mother of four children. She had her first child Dominic (when she was seventeen years old) who was put up for adoption. Nearly twenty years later, Beth's husband, Duane, tracked Dominic down.
