companies primarily in Israel and the U.S.A. Mr. Lent is the Chairman of Traiana, Inc., an early stage enterprise software company focused on Trading Relationship Management, based in San Mateo, Ca. Mr. Lent is also a venture investor in early stage technology companies. In early 1995, he was the Co-founder of Ariba, an enterprise software company, which is the leader in Enterprise Spend Management. From 1995 to 2000, Mr. Lent led Ariba's marketing, business development and corporate development activities, including mergers and acquisitions. Prior to that, Mr. Lent was Vice President of Marketing for Inmac, an international supplier of networking and computing equipment to Fortune 1000 enterprises. Prior to that, he held senior product-marketing positions at Quantum and Softbridge Microsystems. Mr. Lent is the president of the Levine-Lent Family Foundation, which is focused on community Jewish day school education and pluralism in Israeli education. He and his wife, Fran, are one of the13 partners in the Partnership for Excellence in Jewish Education, the sustaining resource for the Jewish day school movement in North America. He is also on the boards of the Jewish Community Federation of San Francisco, the Jewish Day School of the North Peninsula, PlanItJewish.com and the Jewish Community Endowment. Mr. Lent received his undergraduate education at U.C. Berkeley, his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, and was at one time a CPA.
