Bougy-Villars is a municipality in the Swiss the canton of Vaud, located in the district of Morges. Bougy-Villars is first mentioned in 996 as in villa Balgedelco. Starting in 1285 and until the end of the 19th Century, it was known as Bougy-Milon. Thereafter, it was known as Bougy until 1953, when it became Bougy-Villars.
