Brian Chase (born December 2, 1978) is an American drummer playing in the New York rock band Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
Chase grew up on Long Island, New York and attended Friends Academy in Locust Valley, and Oberlin Conservatory of Music. He is now living in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. He has synaesthesia, meaning he sees colours in response to music he plays or hears. He is also a vegetarian.

Chase has sat in with many other groups, including Oakley Hall and Blarvuster. He also plays for the rock band The Seconds, and used to play drums for his longtime girlfriend Emily Manzo's band until the pair split in 2006. He has also performed in a number of experimental duos with other musicians such as Stefan Tcherepnin and Seth Misterka, with whom he released a CD Duo in 2007 on the Australian Heathen Skulls label.
