Music producer, Marty Starr (Rik Mayall), is infuriated to discover that the woman he turned into a household name, Marla Dorland (aka Mavis Davis) (Jane Horrocks), is rapidly losing her fame. With debts up to his ears, Marty believes the only way to secure Marla's fame is for her to die, and thus earn Marty a fortune. The only problem is that Marla refuses to die.
During her tour in the film, Mavis Davis (Horrocks) sings "I'm Alright" previously sung by Kenny Loggins.
The title and plot reference Peckinpah's Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia.
