Brooks Wackerman (born February 15, 1977) is the current drummer for the American punk band Bad Religion and the younger brother of Chad Wackerman, formerly a member of Frank Zappa's band.

Brooks Wackerman started in a group called Bad4Good in 1991 and released 1 album in 1992 called Refugee produced by Steve Vai. From 1993 to 2000, Wackerman was a member of Infectious Grooves, playing drums on the albums Groove Family Cyco (1994) and Mas Borracho (2000) and touring with the band.
Wackerman played drums for the Vandals' album Look What I Almost Stepped In... (2000). He is the substitute for Vandals drummer Josh Freese, due to Freese's commitments with groups such as Nine Inch Nails, A Perfect Circle, and Devo.
In 2001, he became the latest drummer for Bad Religion by replacing Bobby Schayer, who left the band due to an arm injury. He has appeared on The Process of Belief, The Empire Strikes First, New Maps of Hell, and The Dissent of Man.
