On Adam Carolla's Podcast in May 2009 Bryan revealed he was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor (low-grade glioma) and was initially given 6–12 months to live. Since then, he was referred to Dr. Keith Black, the chairman of Neurosurgery at Cedars-Sinai Hospital.
