The term "Buffyverse" is a portmanteau word of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and universe similar to the term "Whoniverse" used to describe the setting of Doctor Who and spin-offs or "Xenaverse" used to describe that of Xena: Warrior Princess and Hercules: The Legendary Journeys.
