Buzz signed a 6 year contract with Marquette University for an undisclosed annual salary.
Buzz grew up in Van Alstyne, Texas. He earned a bachelors degree in Kinesiology from Oklahoma City University in 1994 and a Masters in the same field at Texas A&M-Kingsville; in 1999. Buzz and his wife Corey Norman have two daughters (Addyson & Zera), and two sons (Calvin & Mason).
He coached Marquette to a 25-10 record in the 2008-09 season, where they lost to the Missouri Tigers in the second round of the NCAA tournament.
