Cabela's Dangerous Hunts 2 is a 2005 hunting video game released by Sand Grain Studios. The game is a sequel to 2003's Cabela's Dangerous Hunts. This time around, the game is a game of survival rather than hunting. The player takes a role of a famous hunter who tries to find out who or what killed his best friend by traveling through many different terrain types. Just like the first game, the hunter has a limited amount of energy, and can be injured which results in failure. In this game there are many weapons, including handguns, rifles, shotguns, and knives. The game also includes many different animals including a boss - the Yeti. Unlike the first game, this one has only the story mode feature. You start in Alaska and target practice. Then you hunt Whitetail. As you progress along, you fight a Cougar and a Grizzly Bear.
