The film is one of two documenting MacNamara's life. The Edge of Love, starring Sienna Miller and Keira Knightley, will also be released in 2008. Filming on Caitlin is rumoured to begin this summer in the Welsh town of Laugharne. The town was home to Thomas from 1949 until his death in 1953.
