Camille-Marie Stamaty (13 March 1811 - 19 April 1870) was a Graeco-French pianist, composer and teacher. He was born in Rome to a Greek father and French mother. His father died when he was 7, and his mother took him to France. He studied music with Charles-Alexandre Fessy and Friedrich Kalkbrenner, becoming a remarkable pianist.
