Cassidy's mother enrolled Candice in dance classes at the age of three to decrease her shyness. This led to her owning a dance studio where she taught tap, ballet, jazz, and lyrical dancing while attending classes in college. Cassidy earned a B.A. degree in psychology from Shawnee State University in Ohio in 2009.
