Canisius College

Canisius College (pronounced /kəˈniːʃəs/) is a private Catholic college in the Delaware Park district of north-central Buffalo, New York. It was founded in 1870 by members of the Society of Jesus (Jesuits) and is named for St. Peter Canisius. As of 2008, Canisius has 3,346 undergraduates and 1,570 graduate students.
