After discovering that Jefferson Keane could be inocent, Tobias Beecher starts to read about it and asks the help of elderly inmate Bob Rebadow. Before Beecher could do something, Vern Schillinger discovered he was working to prove the inocense of a Black man and made him eat the pages of the lawbook. When discovering that Rebadow is asking about Keane, CO Mike Healy "shut his mouth". Beecher then, asks protection and is transferred to the Death Row as the other Protectives Units are full. There, Keane tells Tobias he is guilty of killing Julio Martinez. Depressed, Beecher got drugs from Ryan O'Reily.
