Carlos Antonio Carrillo

Carlos Antonio Carrillo (1783–1852), Governor of Alta California from 1837 to 1838, was the son of a prominent California family. His father, José Raimundo Carrillo, came to California with the Portolá expedition in 1769 and served at Santa Barbara for twelve years.
