She made her screen debut with a special "introducing" credit in the much-hyped Jenna's Provocateur, which was also the first directorial effort by veteran adult film star Jenna Jameson. After visiting the set on the last day of shooting, St. James was invited to do a test scene with McKenzie Lee. The result impressed Jameson and producer Justin Sterling so much, that the scene was included in the final cut of the film and St. James was signed to an exclusive contract with ClubJenna.
