In 1989 he joined Molton Brown where he worked for fifteen years in various roles including Sales & Marketing Director, Chief Executive and Deputy Chairman. In 2005 the company was sold to Kao Corporation of Japan.
Denton has since devoted much of his time volunteering in various charitable organizations most notably Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity (GOSHCC) where he spent three years as Executive Director before becoming Chairman of Fundraising in 2008.
