Chelsea Brady was born onscreen as Georgia Reed Brady on May 22, 1998, in Louisiana. Chelsea is the long-lost daughter of Billie Reed and Bo Brady, who was initially buried in the bayou as Georgia Reed Brady in May 1998. The truth came out when Chelsea Benson's adopted parents were killed in a car accident and blood tests revealed her true lineage. Billie immediately stepped in to care for Chelsea, who opted to keep the last name Benson. Since 2006, Chelsea changed her last name to Brady, her biological father's last name.
