Chester Schaeffer (September 9, 1902 - January 5, 1992) was an American film editor, mainly of B movies. He was nominated for an Academy Award for the small scale drama The Well (1951) that was directed by Russell Rouse, with whom Schaeffer had a notable collaboration on seven films.
