The earthquake continued to shake Taiwan throughout the night. The quake was a great catastrophe for Taiwan with many families losing loved ones.
The epicenter of the earthquake was Jiji Township. The 921 Earthquake occurred along the Chelongpu Fault(車籠埔斷層) in the western part of the island of Taiwan.
