The Chieftains 1 is the first album released by the Irish musical group The Chieftains in 1963. The official title of the album was simply The Chieftains, since it was intended to be their only recording, and so it didn't need any numbering.
The Chieftains 1 was one of the first folk albums to be recorded in stereo.
