Choi Ji-woo (Hangul: 최지우; born Choi Mi-hyang on June 11, 1975 in Paju, Gyeonggi Province) is a South Korean actress most famous for starring in the television dramas Winter Sonata, Beautiful Days and Stairway to Heaven.
Choi was first discovered when she won a talent audition organized by MBC in 1994, and made her debut in 1995's War and Love, after which she adopted the stage name Choi Ji-woo.
