Chris Field was signed to FOD Records in 2004 and recorded his debut at Rockfield Studios in Wales and Air Studios in London. Fields debut is titled "Powis Square" after the infamous west London block. The song "Only the Rich Survive" from Powis Square was written by Chris Field after spending a night drinking and talking politics with Hunter S. Thompson on the west coast of Canada.
