Christine Edzard

Christine Edzard (born in Paris, France on February 15, 1945) is a film director, writer, and costume designer. She is best known for her critically acclaimed film adaptation of Charles Dickens's novel, Little Dorrit (1988), for which she was nominated for an Oscar for best adapted screenplay. It is widely considered to be one of the finest of all Dickens adaptations. With her husband Richard B. Goodwin, she runs the Sands Films.
