Chrystina Lauren Sakamoto Sayers (born August 14, 1987 in San Diego, California) is an American singer and dancer. Sayers is a member of the musical group Girlicious. Sayers is from San Diego, California. She is of Irish, Jamaican, Japanese, African and Native American backgrounds. She says that she was a tomboy growing up, because her older brothers would bully her, and she still is at heart. She went to La Jolla Country Day School, from where she graduated in 2005. Her father and uncle Gale Sayers are both former NFL football players. She took singing lessons when she was 14 years old and studied dance for six years. Chrystina was a contestant on the CW Reality show Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious in which she became one of the four girls to make up the group, Girlicious. During the show, she primarily had trouble memorizing her lyrics and letting her nerves get the best of her quite often, landing her three times in the bottom two.
