In December 2008, Chu Mu-yen earned his master's degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. He will begin working on his PhD at the University of South Florida in the Fall of 2009. Though busy with his studies, Chu Mu-yen has participated in Taekwondo clinics and lectures in the greater Pittsburgh area.
