Director of LIFFE from 1991 to 1999; Deputy Chairman from 1997 to 1999. She is a Non-Executive Director of Fortis, Euroclear plc and LCH. Clearnet and a member of the Shanghai International Financial Advisory Council. She was appointed Dame Commander of the Order of the British empire (DBE) in the 2008 Birthday Honours.
