Clarence D. Martin (born June 29, 1886-August 11, 1955) served two terms as the governor of the state of Washington from 1933 to 1940 as a Democrat. Martin graduated from the University of Washington in 1906 and joined his father in running the Cheney Grain and Milling Co. From 1928 to 1936 Martin was the mayor of Cheney, Washington.
