Enrollment in academic, workforce education and continuing education classes during the spring of 2006 was 3,534. The Beeville campus of CBC serves the educational needs of more than 1,300 students. The district services a rural community of some 9,000 square miles. It is also one of the region's most significant economic contributors.
The Bee County Junior College District was created at an election on November 2, 1965.
