Colin McKay (born August 29, 1975, in Regina, Saskatchewan) is a professional skateboarder from North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Colin McKay (born August 29, 1975, in Regina, Saskatchewan) is a professional skateboarder from North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
McKay graduated from Handsworth Secondary School in 1992.
He began skating in 1986 and honed and progressed his skateboard skills at Kevin Harris' Richmond Skate Ranch. McKay was sponsored by Powell Peralta and made his video debut in the Bones Brigade Video 4, "Public Domain". He progressed quickly as an amateur vert skater and had a groundbreaking video part in Powell's 1990 film "Propaganda". His style of technical lip tricks helped progress vertical skateboarding, and McKay would remain a top amateur skater on the contest circuit until he turned professional in 1993.
