The College Board is headquartered in the Upper West Side of Manhattan, New York City. Gaston Caperton, former Governor of West Virginia, has been the president of College Board since 1999.
In addition to managing tests for which it charges fees, the College Board works with programs that claim to increase achievement by poor and minority middle and high school students.
