Franchise Pictures agreed to fully finance the project in early 2003. Zeta-Jones will be making her producing debut. She said of the film: "I grew up among rugby fanatics - the film is very close to my heart. The film will be shot in Llanelli, Wales. Llanelli is also just 10 miles away from Swansea, which is where Zeta-Jones grew up.
