If you've already created one or more user domains, you'll probably notice that, aside from looking a little different, they retain all the same features and functionality as bases. The one difference is that you can move it from being in your own namespace to a base namespace. This will let you (and other users) access it through a shorter URL, and make it easier for other users to join you in collaboration.
- In your domain click Edit Base.
- Enter a name for your base in the Choose a Web Address text box. This is your basekey.
After choosing a web address for your converted domain you can access it three ways:
- .freebase.com
- www.freebase.com/view/base/
