Conza della Campania (formerly called Compsa) is a comune (municipality) in the province of province of Avellino in the region of Campania in Italy. It was an ancient city of the Hirpini occupied by Hannibal in 216 BC. During the Early Middle Ages it was a gastaldate in the Principality of Salerno.
