Cook Elementary School

William Cook Elementary is a public elementary school in Richmond, British Columbia part of School District 38 Richmond. The school was named after local pioneer William Stanley Cook (1859-1940), who settled in the area in 1883. Cook purchased 40 acres (160,000 m) of land in the area in 1906, and farmed it until 1925. The school was built in 1954. The first playground is built at 2002,the second one is built in 2006.
