According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 9.0 square miles (23.4 km²), of which, 9.0 square miles (23.3 km²) of it is land and 0.11% is water. As of the census of 2000, there were 2,431 people, 815 households, and 621 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 270.0 people per square mile (104.3/km²). There were 846 housing units at an average density of 94.0/sq mi (36.3/km²).
