He is well known in Britain for his appearance and portrayal of Dan Sullivan in the BBC soap, EastEnders from 1999 to 2001. He went onto appear in several other television series such as Dream Team where he played Terry Rose. In January 2007, Fairbrass starred in White Noise: The Light as Henry Caine. The film is a sequel to the Michael Keaton film White Noise. In February 2007 he appeared as the renegade Jaffa Arkad in the episode "Talion" in the final season of Stargate SG-1.
