Hailing from Chicago, Illinois, Robinson has appeared in feature films and television programs. He currently plays Darryl Philbin on the American version of The Office, and was promoted to a starring role in the fourth season. Robinson's film work includes roles in Knocked Up, Pineapple Express, Fanboys, Daddy's Little Girls, Zack and Miri Make a Porno and Miss March.
