Originally from Far Rockaway, Queens, New York he began his acting career as a student in 1988 at Ithaca College.
His first job was as a bartender on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. He moved to Los Angeles in 1994, only to return to New York City a year later. He continued to study acting under the mentorship of William Esper and his studio. He returned to Los Angeles again three years later and wound up marrying fellow actress, Canadian American Tara Charendoff.
He has made many guest appearances on shows such as Beverly Hills 90210 and Friends, as well as on soap operas and indie films. He also voiced Bam-Bam on the Cartoon Network Animated Series The Powerpuff Girls.
