Curtis Allen Young (born April 16, 1960, in Saginaw, Michigan), is the pitching coach for the Oakland Athletics. He is also a former professional baseball player who pitched in the Major Leagues from 1983-93.

Young was drafted by the Athletics in the fourth round of the 1981 draft. He joined the big league club in 1983 and played with the A's through the 1991 season, starting opening night for them in 1987. In 1992 he played for both the Kansas City Royals and New York Yankees before rejoining Oakland in 1993.
Young managed to author a pair of one-hitters in his career - October 5, 1986, vs. the Royals and June 9, 1987, against the White Sox - and played in the 1988 and 1990 World Series.
Prior to his appointment as A's pitching coach in 2004, spent four seasons in the same capacity with in the Oakland minor-league system.
